First date questions you should always avoid asking

As a guy, I have pretty much heard it all when it comes to first dates — and the things some people actually say to one another!

If you want to make sure your first encounter is a success, here are a few first date questions you should avoid asking if you want your crush to ask you out a second time! And yes, most of the questions below were actually asked on dates.

Twenty first date questions you don’t want to ask — ever:

1. How much money do you make?

Nobody would want to tell a first date partner his financial status, there is still an iota of doubt the first time you are meeting, he/she doesn't know who you really are, and asking that question will pop up a lot of questions in a lot of partner’s head, he/she’ll think probably think you are after his funds, or in Nigerian’s thinking way, he might think you are sent by his enemies to defraud him.

The questions sounds absurd, you are not there to discuss politics, you are meant to be introducing each other and this is not part of introductory questions.

4. How many kids do you want to have?

You never talked about wedding yourselves, so the questions is out of line, you are obviously rushing your partner.

5. What kind of wedding do you want to have?

He/She should be the one telling you that, not you asking that, asking that questions shows you are the kinda forward/nosy.

6. What went wrong between you and your ex?

You should be letting your partner know you are a good option for him/her, you shouldn't be reminding him/her about his/her past love life, unless he/she tells you himself/herself.

7. Have you ever cheated on someone?

8. Have you ever been in love?

9. Where do you see this relationship going?

10. Why are you single?

11. Are you afraid of commitment?

12. What do your parents do?

13. Do you have any STDs?

14. What’s your greatest regret?

15. Do you think your parents will like me?

16. Are you on a diet?

18. Have you ever had plastic surgery?

19. What’s your five-year plan?
